It's not just about bitrate, the BS11 broadcast has an insane amount of dimming that is distracting to watch. That combined with the terrible memesubs that aren't TL'd well at all, makes it worth the wait for Chyuu imo. Now if only they would drop Nanatsu no Taizai so we get Fate by Shaft a little sooner...

why would you assume its cuz bitrate, stop being dumb... anyway, i find it odd translating Umu, it's odd. like umu subtitled as "then yes". Seriously, i doubt even official subs will do that. It's kind of annoying. Also why do i see Maestro in subs when i don't hear "sousha" which it's supposed to be translation off of. This is such a loose translation.

You don't need to download the sub file. There's a very simple premade python script around which extracts subs, does find+replace and inserts the subs back in. The only thing you need to do for each series is change the find+replace settings in notepad.

kinda pisses me off seeing all these weird cam angles like bakemonogatari, quite obnoxious, and then there's that dead sarcastic "why are you here" though i guess the joke still delivers.... Umu im a little conflicted with, whether to be subbed as Umu or as "yes/indeed/etc". Umu translated as Umu isn't even a big deal and shouldn't be dismissed as 'memesubs'. A lot of people don't even understand what Umu or the western Nnnnh-nnn (for no) and MmmhMmm/Mmm (yes) unless they understand the cultural meaning behind it, like my asian family don't know what Mmhmm or Nnnng-nnn means cuz its a western thing, while Nnnng and Mmm is used more often in other countries. It actually helps to have those show up in subs as there are people who can't even hear them, capturing the necessary expressions helps a lot with the viewing experience and catching what the character is doing. If it can be in books, why not subs.
