ドラゴンクエストXI 過ぎ去りし時を求めて is a game released on July 29, 2017. Published as Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, it is on Nintendo 3DS PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch(2018/TBA).
The original translation for the game should been something like ''Seeking the elapsed time'' which is faithful to what the japanese name intents to say, but is normal that the overseas versions of the games change they title to adapt theirselves better on the market. The music on this game is composed by the usual and master call for the franchise Koichi Sugiyama. The game featured the compositions in a midi like soundbank(which gives a nice old touch to the game) instead of the whole orchestra seen on ドラゴンクエストVIII 空と海と大地と呪われし姫君? — (Dragon Quest VIII), but besides of this, the music still had its usual release on the famous Symphonic Suite for the franchise which features the soundtrack recorded by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
The music comes separated in two disc and got released on Jan 24 of this year. It was recorded on March 29-30, 2017 and May 23, 2017.
