Note that Stains;Gate 0 isn't the continuation of the original Stains;Gate anime, it's a continuation of one of its alternative endings. Please watch Steins;Gate - 23 β, which is an alternative version of the 23rd episode of Stains;Gate, which describes the alternative Steins;Gate anime ending that leads to the Stains;Gate 0. That alternative episode was released several years after the Stains;Gate anime run, so it's likely many have missed it.

if i not mistake the story of Zero is similar to Fate - Stay Night (saber) mix with UBW arc (some people may say it more like how Fate Zero work). the tragedy which lead to the real true ending in Heaven's feel arc or the ending in Stein Gate original story. @MahoHuh: that beta arc seem nowhere to be found any more plus even back in that day it also hard to find a good one too. the only version i have is from Whynot subs, however just like you said. people who watch Zero need to watch Beta or get a brain f*cked as a result.
