Well, "Magneminguar" seems to be a largely made-up word, but Ambulocetuses indeed existed, though they are an extinct species living 45 million years ago, whose name was probably reused for drill-whales because it means "walking whale". The show in general has some legit terms, but sometimes it uses random Latin or Latin-sounding words. Like the Aercaris thing, they took the same "caris" from the "gigacaris" giant crabs and added the Latin "air" to it, except "caris" means "crustacean" and has no relation to bees...

Yea just don't try exclaiming that five times fast on a first read
