Hello, I'm still alive. My first 444, uhd, hdr and x265 encode. wew. sorry if I messed up. i just slap bt.2020 and etc. I didn't tonemap to SDR, because I know I'll mess up. There is no info on, Mastering display luminance Maximum Content Light Level Maximum Frame-Average Light Le I don't have a HDR tv, all I can go by is madvr playback. It does look a little dark to me. you need madvr to play it on your sdr monitor. you can get test encodes here. just difference between 444, 422 and 420. https://1fichier.com/?u9fw9b5ctedy36gncvrm I can say, the red looks better in 444. 422 has some weird chroma blocking, so i gave up. 420, what have we been doing all these years? and there is not much filesize savings going 420. AAC because I gave up on FLAC. subs is from dmonhiro rips. does it look better than the regular bluray? maybe. Glad to see you still kicking, shirohamada. How's you doing?

i just bought a benq ew277hdr for ~$170. yes, it's fake hdr because 8bit and only 400nits and no zone backlight. windows reported it as 12bit though. it does looks better than my normal va panel. the colour is better too because it's rated 93% dci-p3. response time is respectable, no obvious ghosting, comparable to an 60Hz ips from lg. the 1080pee on 27" will give you noticeable aliasing, so sit back further. overcocks to 75Hz, when at 75Hz it will go down to 8bit. in madvr, if you passthrough hdr to display, it does nothing. not my encodes or 4k bdmv.
>overcocks to 75Hz XD
I can't this to play on any devices.
