Hello brother can you help me.i downloaded anime from someone and when i play it on mx player it says it won't work in hw+ and hw audio decoder. The default encoder was set to sw. But it's lagging on my TV using the sw decoder .but on other Animes when i set it to hw+ or hw it doesn't lag. Sw decoder set Animes are lagging ,do you know why? And do you know how to change sw to hw . Thanks in advance
Some x265 are running smooth ,some aren't. It's just about audio decoder. When video has sw,hw,hw+ decoder it's fine. But some x265 videos have only sw decoder and that's what is lagging. Do you think it's audio issue ?
it probably supports AAC so not sure but thing is this is all just what your player supports this works fine on a PC and my phone which has a proper hardware decoder so, this is not an problem with my release.
It's just one of the anime 1080p 10bit runs smooth but some other anime which is 1080p 10bit x265 doesn't run smooth. In your phone do you use mx player ? Most of the anime support all of the decoder but some anime only support sw decoder that's what which is lagging on TV. if any video which supports all decoder it's running smooth, if it's sw only supported it will be lagging idk ? i think my TV can't render high quality audio or something. Cuz i tried same anime with two encodes of same source used by encoders. For example i tried playing reaktor encode of attack on titan which is smooth but [IME] Qxr did a encode of attack on titan last week and it's lagging idk why.
for short I need to know the codec differences between the other releases and mine.
If the difference is:
h264 from others, with no lag
or
h265 from me with lag
or
h265 from others with no lag
or
h265 from others with lag
Make sure what it is to really see what it is otherwise debugging the issue is really hard.
just state what the problem is correctly otherwise this is just a compatibility thing, I guess you just need to be sure what your TV could support and in what container.
I am sure my release is just working like it should I do not use MXplayer as that has given issues lately, and that is due to some updates to it.
I have only used the stock player on my Samsung galaxy S8 and also on the Plex player streaming the files.
With Plex even if the files are not supported it will convert it on the fly so that the player experience is not effected.
You only need a great server/computer to have your anime library hosted, and it should work fine then.
Just saying I use plex for a while now and it works amazingly nice.
It's not the audio issue , i removed audio tracks ,subtitle tracks from the video and tried playing it was still lagging lol. Idk it's maybe my TV doesn't have great processor or something. The thing is ,it play other 1080p x265 10bit videos butter smooth , only some encoded x265 1080p files are lagging . anyways thanks for replying bro.. ?it's a weird playback issue. Are all x265 same ? Like do some 1080p x265 videos need better TV or pc to be played smoothly. i am asking cuz i also tried in laptop it takes a sec to forward to this lagging video,but it's playing smooth tho. I think that kind of videos need good pc or tv sorry for bad english again
h265 needs considerably more processing power and well if your TV does not natively support it it means it is using the shitty software decoder, while h265 is not the most heavy in the decoding it is pretty hefty for some ARM based cpu's and well it depends on how much compression there is for the decode. this is also bitrate dependant. though there are so many variables that could say this.
I bet those other x265 releases are also not going on the hardware decode, though I guess best is to play this on your laptop or a device that does support it.
Tester here, I rechecked audio streams for this anime, it is syncing correctly with the video, and/or any dubbing in this encode should be synced correctly with the video as well.
