Also couldn't mux subs because of some issue. Ergo external sub and fonts.

Just add it to mkvtoolnix and start muxing and you get an mkv and then mux it together or you can do it directly too.

Hardsub is even more shit than the one I've used. Only subs are softsubs.

The concept of hardsubbing, sure, but that's why you take the hardsub and run OCR(+QC) to make a softsub and apply that to another video source.
