High Score Girl / ハイスコアガール BDRip
10-bit 1080p HEVC + FLAC + AAC, MKV format. ~ 1 GB / EP.
The BluRay of "High Score Girl" is quite special. Most of the videos are of 24fps while some of them are 30fps, which are the game screenshots. To avoid the chaos caused by VFR, we encoded the main episodes with 24fps and retained the original 30fps on OP, ED and other additional contents.
There are not many artifacts in this BluRay, we simply applied de-banding to the video.

>Care to elaborate guys? thx
there are pans (where the video slowly scrolls across the screen) that were animated at 30 fps. by encoding it at 24 fps as this release does, that means some frames are skipped, and that pan is no longer smooth. it just constantly skips. that's probably the most obvious problem. the video game sections will also be missing tons of frames since they're animated at 60 fps.
For someone wanting to dig deeper and confirm that the game sections are in 60fps, you can use core.std.SeparateFields in vapoursynth to be able to see each field separately and confirm that there are 60 of them per second and that they each have unique information in them.
