So many questions! Are the subs in the RAR the same as the embedded ones? If not then what the hell are the embedded subs? Are these subs better than the ones in KH's release?

Are the subs in the RAR the same as the embedded ones? If not then what the hell are the embedded subs? Yes. RAR is just there in case anyone wants subs properly retimed to BD without downloading everything. Haven't seen any other releases without big discrepancies. I spent a good amount of time in aegisub because the scene changes are a bit longer in the BD. Are these subs better than the ones in KH’s release? KH's release is just a remux with smugcats subs i believe. KH's release has lots of timing issues because they where never properly retimed for BD just muxed without much regard. So the translation should be exactly the same and the timing should be much better.

Now that I've watched it myself, I can firmly state that the SmugCat subs are utter shit, in terms of the translation (lots of mistakes), and wording. Does anybody know if they used official subs, or if it's an original translation? Anyway, I'll have to rewatch this when better subs are out.

Haven't compared them yet, but even though I'm not a fan of the average CR translation, it should probably be better. Can't say definitively until I watch CR's version, though.
