I am not satisfied enough with the mere exposition of a tiny bit of japanese language which si FILTERED by the voice of other individuals who are dubbing the unadulterated japanese script... on second thought I am wrong, they are tampering with the original meaning known only to the scriptwriter. A phonic transliteration will not suffice since it’s not pure enough to begin with. I want the chaste closed captions. ... but is it enough? Closed captions are way closer but they are still a physical representation of the primigenial mental elaboration created by the scriptwriter Himself. I shall not be satisfied with useless captions, I need to directly feast on the brain matter of the writer, only then I will be able to completely understand the complex text without any pitiful alteration. why are there so many comments seething about honorifics? this person is just providing the option, they didn't even state whether one or the other is superior. i feel like the anti-honorific team is coming off pretty toxic right now, there's no need to insult peoples preferences. i personally don't care (if you know what honorifics are all you have to do is listen for them in the audio, no need for them in the subs imo but it's not like reading them in subs makes my eyes bleed) and i don't see why there needs to be so much toxicity in the comments

Honorifics are important for signifying relationship distance that isn't exactly clear without them. It's respect.

I'm used to Honorifics because first show (Index 1) had it in all it's subs (an all the following saisons too, in most releases), so I'd like to keep it. Thanks for providing what people wants and not what an amateur translator (this go for both GJM and official sub honestly) choose to produce for egoistical reasons. I hope you'll deliver again next eps and in case GJM does fixed versions (first ep seems to have some lore related mistake, shit happens, I hope they take the time to fix them before BD releases but who knows).

I see.... after Yuru Yuri mess, GJM continued to crap out terrible localizations. I wonder why they don't just go work for Funimation or CrunchyRoll? They'll fit in very well and can translate anime for casual American kids. Leave the fansub scene to the people who actually respect the original materials.
