Although the audio format is lossless, the music still sounds rough and low quality (mainly T2) as they compressed it to have it running on PS2 consoles. Tenkaichi 2 and 3 are on Wii so _maybe_, the audio quality may be better on those versions. Raging Blast 2 in 2011's reprint featured the Tenkaichi 2 OST so it's definitely possible the best version is to get through RB2 2011's 360/PS3 copy. Unless BANDAI kept the audio quality identical, that would be a shame. Tenkaichi 1 - Composer: Kenji Yamamoto - Year: 2005 - Num. of Tracks: 19 Tenkaichi 2 - Composer: Takanori Arima - Year: 2006 - Num. of Tracks: 36 Tenkaichi 3 - Composer: Toshiyuki Kishi - Year: 2007 - Num. of Tracks: 21

Oh, should have included _Tenkaichi Tag Team_ too, oh well.
Thanks Impakt! I am collecting extracted music from games and official OST releases on CD. Tenkaichi 2 & 3 that you uploaded have tracks that are double the size compared to the "DB music library" torrent on nyaa (which seems to be PS2 extracted audio for all 3 games), I guess since yours are from the Wii. But I am uncertain as to where these are from since the tracks have names like they are from an official CD release, whereas the extracted audio for all 3 games from the "DB music library" torrent don't have names like this for the tracks. It seems you are saying this is extracted from the games (Tenkaichi 1 from PS2, Tenkaichi 2 & 3 from Wii), but do you have any idea where the track names come from? ...or are these from an official OST release on CD?

These are PS2 Gamerips, not done by me, though. I can look into making PS2/Wii Gamerips if it's any different.
Oh, Ok. I thought you were saying that this was from the Wii for tenkaichi 2 & 3. My mistake. Althought I wonder why the tracks you uploaded for tenkaichi 2 & 3 are double the size as the ones from the DB Music library torrent. I guess I'll never know. Also the DB music library torrent has one or two extra tracks for each game if you are interested.

There are different levels of FLAC. I'll be uploading a collection of DBZ Infinite World media later today. It would be up already, but the thousands of audio files are what's taking it longer.
Actually the different levels of FLAC don't have anywhere near that much of a difference in size. It's really only a very small difference. So I decided to check what is going on by converting flac into wav and still the wave files from yours are twice the size for almost all the tracks in Tenkaichi 2 & 3 compared to the DB music library torrent. So I found the issue, and the problem is from the tracks in your torrent. Somehow I didn't notice the track lengths before, but your torrent has a bit more than double the track lengths compared to the DB music library torrent. I then compared the tracks and your torrent is repeating the same track at least twice, and sometimes it goes into a third time for a few seconds where the program used to make your tracks seems to fade out that third time as it starts. This is common for a program to do when ripping VGM tracks which are similar to MIDI from early console games such as NES. So if PS2 is actually using samples and a sort of MIDI track to play the music, then this would make sense that the program would repeat the tracks like this. But I thought the audio in PS2 games is a file such as wave or a compressed audio file, and if it is, then I think that would be strange for the tracks to be repeated like that. Although your track 2 from techkaichi 2 is at a good volume which fixes a low volume problem with that same track from the DB music library torrent. Most of the other tracks sound exactly the same. Sorry I won't be able to respond again until later tonight or tommorrow if there is a need to reply.

This rip collection was done by lepoulpe44516648. I'm gonna do my own rips whenever I can, as it's quite easy and always prefer to do things myself.
I just wanted to add that, first of all I don’t know anything about the audio from PS2 games or the procedure to extract it. I am only farmiliar with the extracting audio from old consoles games from the early 90s. But I noticed that the DB Music Library has sound tracks extracted from other games that repeat the track twice and fade out at the beginning of the third repetition just like this torrent. But the tracks on those other games repeat seamlessly and never end like a MIDI & sample based audio track would be capable of. I noticed this with the Infinite world torrent you just uploaded where the tracks in your torrent are actually abruptly cut at the beginning of the second repetition. So I would say when ripping the soundtracks for a game and the audio track does that repetition, if it repeats seamlessly without stopping, then that’s ok. But if the track stops completely with a dead space and then continues, then that is a track that can be cut at that point rather than letting it repeat. Tenkaichi 2 & 3 from this torrent could have had all the tracks cut to save space since the tracks come to a complete stop before the repetition, but your infinite world torrent, even though it’s good to be cut as it is to save space, could also have been left with a second repetition as the track never actually stops and the ripping program makes it fade out on the third repetition which sounds nice and is good so it doesn’t sound like part of the track is missing.
