With her are her little assistant Petit Charat (Puchiko) and a floating ball named Gema. And now they are homeless. So Dejiko and friends need to work at a Gamers to earn their free room. Problem is Dejiko is a little shit and would much rather Laser Eye her problems away. Dejiko was adopted as the mascot of the Gamers stores. A cute, but bratty cat-girl who can shoot lasers from her eyes. The show does not make much sense, but is very enjoyable especially if you are aware of otaku trivia. Winter Garden is a spin-off. It shows Dejiko and Puchiko as regular girls. In spite of what the BD said, this is not a complete collection as it is missing the movie, the special of that movie and the Piyoko OVA. That's odd. They work fine for me in MPC-HC. I'll double check when I get home. Edit: I'm gonna need exact file and time. They work fine here.

I can confirm that everything works fine with MPC-HC. I even remuxed the files for my personal archive since the previous ones I had were pretty lousy. Too bad the only thing that's missing is the movie (and the other bits), I'm willing to OCR that from Choco Fansubs release if a raw pops up. Edit: It seems there's a DVD ISO for the movie and a special here: https://nyaa.si/view/1223915 If someone makes an encode out of this I'll take care of the rest.

@peachflavored Me and some friends are working on a brand-new release for the movie using that very ISO I shared. Should be out sometime in June or July. So, to all Di Gi Charat fans hoping for better subs after all these years, they're coming.

@DoubleMangekyo I spent a little time rewatching the movie plus the special and those fansubs need a bit of reworking. They tend to drop the nyo's and gema's in the speech and for me personally that needs improving. But I'll wait for your release then, less stuff for me to do. xD

@peachflavored The Choco-Fansubs release of Hoshi no Tabi does keep the nyos(etc.) though. The problem with their version is the absence of punctuation and signs, and more importantly, a lot of inaccurate translations. But at least, despite said inaccuracies, their subs were understandable for the most part. KenshinGumiAnime's release of the Kuchi kara Bazooka special, on the other hand, is a complete dumpster fire all round and the main reason for my little project.
