What is this? A single episode? Wait? Is this an.... original translation? Could it be? Is this.....? A FANSUB?! Yes, we're doing it old-school for one. This show is one of my all time favorites for many reasons. I'll do my usual mini-review when I finish the series. But yes, I'm doing my own translation since while decent, the only English translation we have is not worthy of this fantastic anime. I urge everyone and anyone to watch this show. At least give it a shot. It blends humor with seriousness very well and this might be the best performance form Wakamoto Norio. Never have I seen someone act in anime with only his voice, as the character he voices has no facial expressions. He hard carries the show. If there is one thing I am sad about, it is the video quality. I was unable to find DVD ISOs for this. I am using the best raws I could find (DmzJ), but they are very old. If anyone has DVD ISOs for this, please, share them with me. Join me next week for another episode. Well, maybe it won't take an actual week, but I'm making sure I don't burn out because I really want to finish this show. PS: A bit of explaining. I tried to add a little flavor to the subtitles. Gargoyle speaks in an archaic/modern hybrid language, so all I tried replicating that by not giving him any contractions. When animals or plants talk (don't ask, you'll see why), I will put it in italics unless there is someone other then Gargoyle who can understand them.
