Behold! Chivas 1-2-3 OVA (aka Sorcerer on the Rocks) for the modern times! About this project ------------------ This was one of my several projects back in the day when I enconded stuff for Bakaneko no Litterbox (BakaNL) back in the early 00's and to be honest one of my first encodes as well. As such and seeing that someone posted an old encode from a4e here on Nyaa, I decided to make a slightly better version of this old obscure OVA series. I could've just encoded directly from my DVD but it's been 15+ years since I've encoded anything at all and nowadays I'm more in the mood for editing subtitles rather than doing the whole deal. So I used an encode I 've found on a Russian tracker that seems rather decent given the circumstances (the DVD just doesn't have any good video quality to begin with) and added some revised english subtitles extracted from my original encode. What's done ----------- For this project I used the subtitles I extracted back in the day and merged both into one file since the video/audio I used has both episodes bundled together. I could've split them in two but why having the trouble...? As for the subtitles, the usual work was done with lots of editing tweaks, timing adjustment, putting honorifics back in their place and changing all instances of "Shibas" to "Chivas" since that's his name. What's not done --------------- As usual this project is completed. The video and subtitles are good enough for my liking but if any errors are present you can always blame the one peach army (or don't if you're a nice person, I don't care :P). If anyone wants to be kind enough (as usual) and add this release to AniDB, please do so. Place it under the group peachflavored.
