The bdsd is cropped the 4:3 a noticeable crop which cut part of the frame a truly noticable part because every frame in hokuto no ken full of great drawing

At the end of the day you downloaded it for free, if your that disappointed then buy the source you're looking for, otherwise don't complain.

The pq difference with sxales / Scoped / US SD BD is so gigantic nezumi's can't just be an upscale?
Or the JP remastered DVDs are vastly superior to the US BD, which doesn't make sense..!?

For those who keep saying nezumi version is the better, let me show you a quick comparison between the two.
Nezumi version is upscaled:
Width: 1 024 pixels
Height: 768 pixels
while sxales version is not:
Width: 720 pixels
Height: 480 pixels

Nezumi version has enhanced colors and some white balance resulting in loosing some color details, in some cases you get better line definition, but because its been heavily denoised some times you will lose a lot of details resulting in blurry lines. Also contrast has been tweaked and while you might get better blacks you will also get a lot of shadow crush, loosing details in the shadows.
One thing i notice with sxales version that at the top of the video there are some black res lines resulting resulting in some missing res lines at the bottom of the video, this has more to do with the source and the way they encoded their BD.
It is no way my intention to trash anyone's work here, just trying to point some differences.
At the end its a matter of perspective and preference.
My Respect to all groups and encoders for their hard work, at the end we are benefiting from their hard work without paying anything.
