We use CRF 18, a high-quality bitrate setting that is a standard recommendation on Doom9 (the expert encoding forum). Rest assured that this video will look perfectly fine even when watched closely on a large screen. CRF 18 avoids pointlessly bloating bitrate for virtually no gain, so you get a great balance of quality and size.
[Audio quality]
This encode uses FLAC, which is lossless but also very large. For virtually the same quality at a much lower filesize, download our [Small] encode instead, which uses lossy AAC encoding to strike a better balance. (The video in both encodes is identical.) [Small]: https://nyaa.si/view/1316231

That was a typho for the JP Dubs and no I won't do that as the source audio is 24 Bit if we are speaking for the English dubs
On top of that Just ask for a [Small] Qaac127 Encode if you think this is bloated.
I'm talking about the 24bit bloat. You can pretend that you can hear the difference between 24bit and 16bit but actually you don't. So it's better to convert 24bit to 16bit if you are using flac. Though you shouldn't even be using flac if your video is like 300-400mb.
@loli_killer you're very opinionated and I'll tell you one thing again till you get it. You could request for a qaac version if you think the audio is too large. And I keep the bits as close to source as that is a set rule of encoding. So in that sense I'd advise you to not try to educate me how I do my encodes I've seen types like you many times. If you don't like it then don't download it ?.

If you don't care about storage the best release for this is undoubtedly neko raws encode. Or Asakura's release.
@Ingenoussubs at least it's based on peers and not my own biased view. Heck I do think my way is better but always think in a sense that it could be better. I always strive to improve,
I just stated what I've seen a lot of positive comments and that's why I stated what is said about my releases a lot. That's not shameless advertising as it's on my own encode so who cares? That should be the original release, and not made after someone requests for it since in your releases audio alone occupies like 50-60% of the file size (even more than that sometimes). You have 2 FLAC tracks and one of them is even 24bit 6 channel, which does not fit well with a bad quality video. People who have a brain would likely go for good video + decent audio, and not bad video + bloated audio. Most can't tell the difference between FLAC and high quality AAC/OPUS anyways. Using FLAC is okay but only with a properly filtered video. And I'm not trying to "educate" you, it was a suggestion. I don't even download your releases.
Tester here, I rechecked audio streams for this anime, it is syncing correctly with the video, and/or any dubbing in this encode should be synced correctly with the video as well.
Hogoledo: I'm not sure what filename you're looking at, but I checked [Nep_Blanc] The Rising of the Shield Hero 01, it's clearly Ep1: The Shield Hero.

The sub tracks from [KS/CR] are not on the correct episode that needs to be fixed later sorry for that though.
