⚠️SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED UP TO HERE THEN DON'T READ MY NEXT 2 COMMENTS!!!⚠️
So does anyone here use YouTube? I'm guessing a few do. Bro so apparently I was subbed to this absolute tool of a person who thinks it's okay to spoil Attack on Titan, and a major plot point no less. I was only on the 4th episode because I wanted to wait to watch a few episodes at once. I was browsing my subscription feed on YouTube and this fucking cuck had "Sasha's Death in their fucking title" Literally not even 2 days after the episode aired. Like what a complete scumbag, right? You would think in 2021 people in the anime community actually care about that shit now. But no. Attack on Titan is the biggest and best anime right now. Even without this season it is a king. FMA:B and AoT fans are at war on the degenerate site MAL for scores as if its their life's purpose. So, yeah. AoT is no joke. We all know that. And these lowlife pieces of shit are so greedy and such sellouts they use that to get the lowest quality content out on YouTube with Attack on Titan slapped on their videos with lots of low effort clickbait, especially spoilers.
I don't hate many people for many reasons in life. But people who spoil anime deserve a special place in Hell. I genuinely hate these types of motherfuckers. Whether it's because they have a shitty sense of humor or it's for money, there is nothing worse. They ruin it for everybody. And this person who I was subbed to, literally none of the top comments had anything about that. People on YouTube can be stupid. It's sad that shitty content creators looking for a quick buck get a pass for this, and if none of their 'fans' call them out, it will never stop. I'm pretty sure they can autoban words. I tested it on their comments section. Words like spoilers, clickbait, and all that just don't go through. It's a fucking cesspool and dumpster fire. In summary, don't use YouTube if you're not caught up on an anime. Heaven forbid you don't want to watch it immediately and wait to binge it all at once. Because these rats will never go extinct. Er. Rant over. You're welcome for the copypasta if that's how you wanna look at it. (Please don't clown on me for this, if you were thinking of doing so.) But to me and others this is a serious issue. Especially with a powerhouse studio and top tier anime like this. I saw that shitty video title and was expecting Sasha's death for 3 whole fucking episodes. Like fuck you dude. It's hard to stop thinking about that shit too, while you're watching. It's like a scar in your mind. I hope they all get covid.
Sad that you got spoiled. As awful as that is, it's never going to end. There will always be scumbags who just can't let people enjoy things on their own, you even see some trying to justify it by saying stuff like "You should have expected to be spoiled if you aren't caught up with it, people are free to talk about it once a certain event that has been shown in the medium (anime/manga) is out." I don't agree with this at all because I also like waiting for a thing to be completed so that I can binge through it and I have seen a lot of people do the same. I have been keeping up to date with the latest episodes of Shingeki just so that I could enjoy the story without knowing what I already don't know. I knew about the Sasha incident before the final season even started thanks to twitter (my fault for even using twitter). But just a few hours ago, I was spoiled about the events that took place in the recent chapter that came out on a reddit thread. It was a NSFW post about Pieck and there's this person in the comments with an imgur link saying it's their favorite Pieck lewd. But no, it was a panel from the recent chapter. I immediately went back but I saw enough from my one glance that was needed for me to even understand that it was a spoiler. I wanted to believe it was fake but the replies gave me the answer I didn't want. Sure enough, they were getting bashed in the replies but the deed was already done. I didn't even go back to check if their comment had been deleted because I was trying not to think about the whole thing in an attempt to forget it but it's been on my head for hours now and I am upset. Am I just supposed to stay off the internet? Everywhere you go, there are people doing annoying shit like that. Really makes me mad but I wouldn't wish Covid upon them. I do agree with you on one thing, the fact that you called MAL a degenerate site.
@TBG22 Dang that sucks.. You can't trust anybody, can you? And we shouldn't have to just go cold turkey at times like this. If you aren't actually doing some sort of detox or social cleanse, there is so much you can miss out on and that can suck too. I know someone who had a BEST friend that loved spoiling anime all the time and thought it was funny so he dropped them. It's not just about the anime either. It goes as deep as personal character and whether or not you're a pos. I fully relate with you in the whole trying to forget thing because it seems no less than impossible. Or even telling yourself it might not be true. It's kinda similar in that way to the loss of a loved one. 99% of the time, it is true. /: And even if you aren't revealing a legit thing that occurs, you've already ruined it for someone. If Sasha were to never die until the end of the manga and anime series, a spoiler like this could ruin your ENTIRE experience with the lifespan of the show. Wishing a virus upon a person is probably a bit extreme, but they'll get over it. Ahaha. ._. Unlike people who get spoiled.
@Koganeltou Enjoy the hows and whys of life, not the whats. Most of all media is re-hashed trope plot points anyway. Enjoy the art of how it fits together and your own interpretation, no one can take that away from you. And if knowing what's at the end destroys the joy of the journey, was it really worth getting there anyway?
