This is a collection of all 60+ episodes of TeamFourStar's **Dragon Ball Z Abridged** series, along with specials, movies, and various behind the scenes pieces. I've had this collection for a while now, and a legendary comment in the Z batch torrent reminded me that there might be some interest in it.
The main episodes are in the "Mainline Series + Specials" folder, presented in recommended viewing order. The "Side Series + Movies" folder contains all movies in release order, Kai Abridged, Super Shorts, and the Cell vs. series. I muxed in both the regular and joke (Canadian) English subtitles into each file.
Obviously a lot of this stuff is on YouTube, however a good number of these files come from higher quality sources that I accumulated over the years, either from other hosting services, or from an archive of high quality files that were provided to me by **Phantop**. Most of the files in the Behind The Scenes folders were provided by **GalanDun**.
Episode 19 in season 2 seems to have an issue. it skips forward after about 20 seconds in and the timeline seems like it might be corrupted.
Thank you for the upload though. Overall, everything else seems great!
Episode 19 of Season 2 is corrupted, at 26 second mark it skips to 53 second mark, with that entire segment between 0:26 and 0:53 missing due to corruption.
It's amazing how divisive a silly parody show is.
My bad with episode 19, I swear I checked everything twice. Oh well, here it is:

I know you've heard this a million times, but I want to say my piece on the movies you're working on.
You've released the best version of Dragon Ball ever. And I know you want to carry that sentiment forward with the movies. However, the fanbase is split, just like with dubs and subs and so on. But you managed to cater to these people by expanding on the Ocean dub, including the original Funi dub (my personal thanks on that) and so much more.
The movies are split by fans who like the side-cropped 4:3 releases, primarily because they think it fits the series or were unaware that there was missing video, and the fans who prefer the Toei Remasters, which are cropped on the top and bottom into 16:9, which is how they would be shown in a theater today.
My question, or request, or hope, or whatever, isn't to pick one or the other; it's to appeal to your sense of fandom and finality in releasing. Obviously, with there only being 17 movies in all, this wouldn't be as drastic of an undertaking as the 500-some episodes in the series plus specials, but it would still take a lot of work.
Would it be possible, even, to take the best quality video of each, and splice/sync them together into a complete image with black squares in the corners instead of on the top or sides, so that the entire image of the 4:3 and 16:9 is shown, even if the color is off? Would it be possible to include two (or three if the last question is possible) video files in an MPV file, so that whoever wants what can just mux out whatever they don't want and be grateful?
Making everyone happy isn't possible. What you're doing isn't your job. But I trust you and your friends. You've made something I thought would never happen into a reality; a true collector's release. Thanks again!
@DisplayNamee The main reason why the main members of SoM are not working with the 4:3 footage is because the DVD sources of the films are, in general, very low quality compared with what is available for the 16:9 footage. While it's possible to filter the footage somewhat, this doesn't solve all the problems that are inherent with the DVD sources, and at this point we don't want to release anything that isn't up to our own standards. Remux versions of the 4:3 movies exist on Nyaa already for anyone who wants them (https://nyaa.si/view/1271049). That being said there are some members of SoM who are attempting to work with the 4:3 footage, but nothing concrete is being planned as of right now.
A merge of the sources is essentially impossible due to the radical difference in quality between the SD 4:3 and HD 16:9 films. While it is possible to have two different video streams in an MKV file, these files are not typically able to be played in anything but a computer, and our goal is for our releases to be able to be played back on most devices. It is far easier to just keep two versions of the movies if you insist on having a 4:3 presentation.
I hear everything you said. But I would love to have a full video with really crappy (by comparison) top and bottom video on my 16:9 remaster. lmao
Either way, I just wanted to say my thoughts. Thanks for getting back to me. SoM rules!
Also, the link you provided for the movies in Japanese only. Nowhere near the amount of stuff you guys would sync with a release. But I already have some OK versions of the movies, so I'll sit on those until your release and maybe try to time them with the ones they released. I always feel like I'm off by a second, though.
I was wondering if anybody had done a batch like this (esp including the subtitles) and was prepared to be disappointed, but you came through!! I'll be seeding
