@Simplistic As soon as I can get my hands on 24 bits audio lmao.
@Kulot99 Yes but if you prefer h264 (like if you have older hardware) then v4 would be better.
Just so you know. Preferring h264 encodes over h265 has very little to do having old hardware. It's about being able to share/watch files that are playable anywhere and on almost any DVD/media player in the world. It's the convenience of using a internal media player in a flat screen TV to access and play files kept on a home network server. h264 will always have the same value it has had on and off the internet.
Don't forget h265 files that are dependent on a pc operating system. The files can't be burned onto an external DVD-Rom the way they are and be playable anywhere and on almost any DVD/media player in the world the way h264 can. h265 and even HEVC/4.4.4 encodes lose their value as sharable media when taken off internet or pc. Personally I can't stand the limitations of h265 or what it's done to Anime sharing community.
But to be fair, will give credit when its due. SONY's New LED/LCD tv's that run Android OS, play h265 files. An example is the 85" Sony UHD 4k LED tv. There's actually an unadvertised fact about that model. It's really an 85" PC monitor.
dvd players can't play h264 dumbass
>Don’t forget h265 files that are dependent on a pc operating system
yes, and it's the same with h264.
or are you implying that h264 files just magically decode themselves?
> The files can’t be burned onto an external DVD-Rom the way they are
???
> It’s really an 85" PC monitor

> Preferring h264 encodes over h265 has very little to do having old hardware.
\>proceeds to complain about how he can't play h265 on his old hardware
