### New "Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time" Original Soundtrack
This was released on the EVA-EXTRA app and it contains the movie edits for some of the songs, additionally there is a "new" track called *"4EM35 A-4 ピアノ・おまかせヴァージョン"* (A-4 piano / Omakase Version) which is actually a track from the 1998 S² Works in Disc 5 called *"A-4 Piano, rough version (dream gap_THE END)"* which also is one of the many piano adaptions of *"Borderline Case"*.
For some reason the track *"4EM20"* has "film edit" written twice, I am uncertain whether it's a typo or the actual name but decided to write it as it's in the app.
Also, this is (not) the official album cover, but I thought it was better to put this rather than leaving the songs with nothing.

Khara also said something about these songs being very large (as you can well see), I can’t tell you why since I’m not that much of an expect but I’m sure someone may have an actual explanation for that?
First of all: thank you.
As to why this is so large: as the title says, the bitrate is 4608 Kbps instead of the usual CD-quality 1411 Kbps. That comes from the sample rate being 96 kHz instead of 44.1 kHz, while the bit depth of each sample is 24-bit instead of 16-bit. That comes out to over 3 times larger than what you would usually expect.
However, I can see in the frequency analysis that it's super quiet (probably just useless noise) in the frequency range above 24 kHz (frequency range is different from the sample rate that is also expressed in kHz). This doesn't look like a genuine high-res recording. I'm going to downsample my copy to 48 kHz to save space.
For a desired frequency range, you need little over twice as high a sampling rate:
96 kHz sampling -> 48 kHz range
48 kHz sampling -> 24 kHz range
44.1 kHz sampling -> 22 kHz range
A bigger bit depth allows for a bigger difference between the quietest and loudest sounds, and a quieter noise floor.
@Shakugan_no_Otaku as the description says they are movie edits for some of the songs, and the full album was not released nor there is an ETA for it, at the moment these are all the tracks we have
