I'm commenting here because Ep 1's last comment is old old, and it's better here. If the subs are original by releaser, I apologize for what I'm about to say. They don't know anything about Japanese or care about Japan. I speak from experience as an Asian who tans well and has family who vary from extra light skin to super dark skin. Nagatoro and Xinyan are both Japanese and Chinese, respectively. Just dark-skin. They just don't get a lot of representation in certain forms of media and entertainment. Most, actually. Well I guess this is what happens when they do get representation. People are like Merle from The Walking Dead.
