--cpu-used is simillar to presets in x265. which controls speed/quality, --end-usage=q indicates ConstantQ mode, simillar to CRF, --cq-level is like CRF value.
--auto-alt-ref means automatic placement of AltRef frames. AltRef is a special frame acts like a keyframe, which can be used for prediction.[1]
--row-mt is row based multi-threading, on by default.
--tile are unique feature to AV1, it splits the video into _tiles_, in this Rip, video is splitted into 4 columns.
Each tile can be considered as an independent frame and can be decoded simultaneously. AV1 has high complexity for decoding, tiling could boost decoding speed by a lot
while trading off just a small amount of extra bits.
--enable-cfl-intra is a unique technology in AV1, which is chroma prediction from luma. This is extremely useful for Anime contents.
The encoder predicts chroma information from luma plane, illustrations benifets from this technology a lot.
--kf-max-distance is the maximum distance of keyframe, simillar to GOP size in MPEG codecs. aomenc automatically place keyframes based on scene detection which is
the most efficient way placing kf. However, the default value is 9999 and aiming best bitrate saving, considering high complexity of AV1, it should be much smaller.
