Yashiro Nene is a young girl with a fascination about the occult, and a wish for romance. Once she learns that one of the seven mysteries of Kamome Academy is Hanako-san, she goes to her to get her to fulfill her wish. Upon her arrival in the girls' bathroom of the old building, she discoveres the horrible truth: Hanako-san is actually Hanako-kun. And he's a bit of a jerk. What's more, since she owes him a favor now, she is also toilet-bound: she has to clean the place every day. Even worse, soon other supernatural creatures start making a mess of the academy, and it's up to Nene and hanako-kun to stop them. Well, this was fun. Hanako-kun is a total ass most of the time, but in an eandearing way. Ogata Megumi is the perfect voice for the smug little jerk. He's by no means evil and nothing he does is outright malicious, but he'll make fun of you. A lot. And he loves teasing Nene. Granted, the girl makes is real easy. If you're a fan of youkai, you might want to check this out. It has some interesting versions of the classical "seven school mysteries", and Hanako-kun himself is not all he seems to be. The artstyle is also pretty damn good. Everything is drawn in a cutesty shoujo style that makes all the coming horror stand out more. Check it out.
