This encode was made directly from the .MTS files from the Bluray. They were processed in Davinci Resolve using the Neat Video plugin to remove the excessive noise, leaving only a natural texture on the image. Later this was encoded with Handbreak using h265 (10bit x265) codec with constant quality @20 and the encoder tune set to grain. Files are about 25% smaller than other encodes found on the web, and with better image quality than the original BD, IMHO. Some episodes had a minor decrease in size, compared to another release, but some have lost up to 1 gigabytes in size while having a better image. This is a 4x3 Full HD encode with softsubs. There is a folder with comparisons between the before and after the denoise. This was captured from the screen, not in full res, but should give an idea of the result.
