I've been wanting to ask, why was "Jas" the short name used? It feels too different and nothing similar to the original name. At that point, it would have been better to use something like "Lil' Jahy" or just "Jahy" imo.

@fuee Thanks. I did read the comments and I too would have prefered Hii-chan too but as I understand they don't want to use honorifics. That's why I'm even okay with a normal "Jahy" but "Jas" is the one that makes less sense for shortening it. The first name It comes to my mind when reading that is "Jasmin".
