As the source version I used for this one is pretty nice, it was fairly easy to encode, and since I didn't needed to add any grain, I could use AOM instead of SVT, which is my preference, also it is way faster without grain synth. The audio was a 16bit 48kHz FLAC that as with my other BD Source, was encoded to WavPack at 2.7bps for the main audio and 2.0bps for the commentary, present on episodes 01 and 12. The Opening and Ending Collection, also the Disc 01 and Disc 02 Menu are WavPack Lossless. I coudn't find the Opening theme for the episode 13, it is not in the audio files from the main source nor on that AniBoters collection I have, but the main source does have a lossless audio on it, so I extracted that audio and left it as a standalone audio file in the Audio CDs folder. Added tags according to the info I could find on AniDB. The Audio CDs, again as usual, were transcoded to TAK, and I made a CUE file with Japanese, Romanji and English options following both their VGMdb pages and the original included CUE files. The OST I got from AniBoters, which is lost, coudn't find the source from where I got it which was long ago, but I kept their logo, cover, LOG, M3U and CUE files on an extra folder. All text based files (such as LOG, CUE, TXT...) were transcoded from Shift-JIS to UTF-8-BOM and UTF-16 LE BOM so they should work fine with pretty much any text viewing software. Unfortunately that means some original dates were lost, but all their content is completely unchanged. The pictures are encoded in JPEG-XL, as they were JPEGs and JPEG-XL can losslessly compress them, so in case you prefer the JPEGs, you can decode them and get the original file back. I will also keep using JPEG-XL from now on as it can deal with both lossless images (such as PNG or TIFF for example) and JPEG in a lossless way, and it does compress very good, so it is now my format of choice. Already been messing with it for quite a while anyway. I recommend IrfanView to open them. As for the subtitles, I carried both of them over, so here we have English and Chinese subtitles, just like the source. I do confess though I don't know if it's traditional or simplified, but again they are exactly the same as the source. All the files and tracks inside them have tags and names. Talking about names, there is a little discrepancy between the file names and names in the container against what is said on the preview of the next episodes, I decided to follow the AniDB naming scheme instead of the previews, to make checking on them easier. As usual, my releases are meant to be watched using MPV, so that is what I recommend you to use. I tested on mine and it does work perfectly fine, it also works on Android using VLC. The Audio CDs can be opened with MPV as well if you (for some reason) don't want to install or don't have a standalone audio player, but I do recommend foobar2000 on PC and Poweramp on Android, though I know AIMP is able to deal with these files just fine too. Fun Fact: Each episode uses 12 fonts.
