What was their source? AB Groupe also? So, do the old AB DVDs offer this quality? I dig it.

More or less. All episodes are from AB, but episodes 105-260 and 281-291 have a uncesored master, with japanese opening and ending and different on terms of quality that the final french master, because FORTA wanted new episodes before a French version existed, and AB sent original material without translation or editing.
