Why you guys love to write fanfic in the musics? Although not so bad this time like Aquatope... I fail to understand the logic behind 踊りたい line. Could you explain the logic this time, instead of ignoring it, allowing the comments session to become a big shitpost again? There is also not much logic in the way you guys handle the title, neither translating 様 in the sub and ignoring it in the typesetting. In the end, incredible typesetting and questionable localizations choice as always.

@LoliSub As this is a translation, we do not use Japanese words in our subtitles. That includes honorifics. The only reason the title of the anime is "Kaguya-sama" is because that is the official English title. As for the songs, they're written to convey the general message of the song, to match the rhythm and the number of syllables, so that they can be read to the music, or even sung if you wish to do so. We do not follow the exact wording, rather try to read into the meaning behind the lyrics and convey that in a musically fitting way.

About the songs, I wouldn't bother if it was a dub, but I strongly disagree when you do this in subtitles.It's just a sweet lie.
