## Some Stuff ##
Here's one of the things I mentioned on my last release, this one is the first thing I did entirely on Vapoursynth scripts, with no intermediary video files. I used another program as a base and edited things as I went, and thus used some old plugins, but everything video was done straight from the disc to the final file.
I've been trying to do that for a while already but this is the first one that was serious so I am quite happy with it despite the process being kinda sketchy (old version of vs and plugins, loading stuff manually from here and there, two different installs of vs, vsrepo not working, editing pre-made scripts and so on). I did learned a lot and polished things for the next release (updating both python and vs, also updating all plugins since I got them again from scratch via vsrepo, making my scripts from zero and so on), so the next one (which is already up) will be even better than this one!
This release also used subtitles that I got from another source despite the disc containing them, I just didn't knew how to extract it. But that is another thing that was dealt with on the next release which I did extracted the subtitles from the disc I was using as well.
This contains the main OVA, also the Menus, trailers, commercials, (almost) everything I could extract from the disc I did.
And following my usual motto, no filters were applied to the video at all except what is needed (deinterlaced using QTGMC on slow, detelecined and decimated using TIVTC on mode 5), but I did cropped off a bit of the black edges on the sides. I also applied some photon noise to try and keep some of the grain which av1 is excellent at getting rid of. It's not perfect but it is something (also it allowed me to use the reference aomenc which I do prefer over SVT).
The aspect ratio is 4:3 (as is the source), dealt with in a non destructive way using mkv's display size tag.
I accidentally posted a MediaInfo output as a guest, so there might be a duplicate somewhere '-'
**My releases are all tested and meant to be watched using mpv.** It probably works on other players, but I can't guarantee that.
I'm always accepting suggestions principally of DVD and loli content!
