Thanks to Shaft's native 1080p production, the lines come with only slight aliasing. Despite this, there are still 2 points bothering us: the no-dithering production by Shaft and the bad encode by Bushiroad. As demonstrated in the source, heavy banding and blocking are present in the flat areas. Although the situation gets a little better in the last three episodes, we can still easily find unsightly noise. Therefore, we applied mild anti-aliasing and de-ringing to the lines plus strong de-banding to the flat areas, and then adopted regular texture enhancement as a supplement.
