Bilibili is a nice straightforward translation, very close to japanese dialog without localisation. I really apriciate that and hate when translator ego takes over and they atempt to rewrite simple lines into some overcomplicated mumbojumbo filled with phrasal verbs etc.
This is a genuent question because Ive never downloaded from this uploader before. Are the subs good? Ive heard that the HIDIVE version will be a week behind so I would rather watch this but Im not sure about the subs quality. Thank your for your help.
Well whilst the subs may seem good, for me they are WAAAY out of Sync! I Like the file size yet still do not get the fact you guys dont get putting an english file name on an english sub would save many of us soo much hassle (especially if downloading more than one of your uploads - erm this is NC Raws ep 01 B Global????????????)
So ended up watching the triple sized excelent synced version by NanDeska whos files I can read :)
@keks
Check the reply before you as I also agree with @microscop with his statement that bilibili subs are close to the Japanese in terms of translation, some even might complain about how small the subs are but it works fine for me. I used bilibili subs for some last season ongoing series.
@ElderDoughnut14
ow cool, sorry I missed it. Didnt know its from Bilibili, thank you. Ill watchj this release then. Just one more thing, doesnt really matter but why is it 4k? haha
@matheousse
They are totally fine, better than most western subs to be honest that try way to hard. Subs should be concise and as close to what is said as possible, this makes them seamless. Subs are not dubs or books which many translators doesn't seem to understand. Most western subs that localize too much and make attempts at "improving" the dialogs by making them overly verbose and injecting phrasal verbs into every sentence. When you don't hear what is said or the order is too altered or some failed excuse for a writer decides to replace few words with entire paragraph it really makes the subs stand out in a bad way and creates a disonance.
Those subs here match what is said quite closely, don't overcomplicate what is said allowing you to pretty much ignore them and easily read them while keeping them in peripheral visions.
