This project is in cooperation with **Nekomoe kissaten**. Thanks to them for elaborating Chinese subtitles.
The source is of fair quality and the native resolution is 844p. We considered the rough lines to be a style of painting and did not apply excessive anti-aliasing, but only applied descaling and reconstruction to remove aliasing which is resulted from upscaling. Then regular de-banding, contra-sharpening and adaptive denoising was used. The OVA is almost flawless due to the super-heavy noise coverage, and we only applied descaling and reconstruction while preserving the noise. Due to the extreme amount of dynamic and dark scenes, the bit rate is on the large side.

Don't get me wrong, I am happy to see more releases for a quality show, instead of a few.
But I wonder in which terms this one is supposed to be better than the original Nekomoe-Kissaten, which used to be the best quality for the similar codecs and resources used here?
Said otherwise, is there a particular improvement to get this one when having the previous? Considering their name is tagged here.

Nekomoe kissaten's BDRip is made by their own encoder, with heavier AA applied to the TV part and no pre-processing for OVA. And seemly more compression artifacts with their encoding parameters (all compared with ours). You can always assume that we cooperate with fansub groups (e.g. Nekomoe kissaten) only for subtitles, while the video comes from our own encoder. So you need to compare and select by yourself.
