@gil you actually made me download the episode of this shit fucking series because I couldn't understand what you were trying to say.
It is almost definitely a good choice because it makes the show funnier, which it really needs given the "quality" of the material.
[@Interruptor](https://nyaa.si/view/1652996#com-16) they really are stalling a show because they are too busy drawing little kids on the fucking screen this is the most retarded thing I've seen in a while.
But you're right, it is a shit show that no one should watch.
@gil I don't think it's stalled because of this, at least I refuse to believe they have been stalling it for 4 years because of chibi drawings. One can only hope...
[Context](https://slow.pics/c/rZuWusDO) so you don't have to watch this garbage yourself.
It's obvious what the signs mean and the whole running animation consists of only six different frames, but let's put a chibi drawing in the corner and make the actual text extra blurry (`\blur0.5`) for good measure. Couldn't wait a few more days to upload this, huh?
[@gil](https://nyaa.si/view/1652996#com-17) This took the TSer less than a day to do. It was stalled due to a lack of staff interest, but a new TSer appeared to pick up the slack which renewed both progress and interest.

You have no idea what you're talking about lol
@WitchyMary
You're right, I don't. But, simply removing the specific tag I quoted above from line 771 of the .ass file makes "Rakita" [not blurry and easier to read](https://slow.pics/c/u3eDFhE2). So what is the benefit of adding it?
Probably a force of habit or something, not that the blur difference increases the readability by a substantial amount anyway (you'd be better off increasing font size in any way)
Either way, starting off your comments with an inflammatory tone is a good way to get your criticism completely ignored.
[@hozjiwpoo4jt221](https://nyaa.si/view/1652996#com-23) Blur is always added for the sake of helping with blending. In this case was probably more of a force of habit, as joletb pointed out. Personally, I'd have added some blue to the whole shape.
Just throwing it out there, but `\blur0.5` is the minimum blur for non-aliased text. So some typesetters (including me) will just straight up refuse to use anything lower unless we're trying to match aliasing in the video.
Thanks for the info, motbob.
I just found the contrast between the blurry name and the completely unnecessary yet distractingly sharp drawing funny.
[Here](https://mega.nz/#!7IZRhSyY!fcsaBMQoAzjrXJNXFaKjvI2fp61_v1WLLGOQvOTDyBU) is a non-meme TS of that sign. Could be better though, especially if there were more than just six frames of animation with reaction .gif looping quality.
