Thanks a lot for all the subs! I’ve only joined you with this series, but it’s been great. (Thanks to Toei for the great show, too!)
No idea if you’ve done this before, but I think this was my first time seeing ruby text in English subs for puns, and I was impressed (and amused). My only lament is that until one sees the second line, it isn’t obvious why the ruby text is there on the first line, so the first instinct is to take it solely as a subtitle joke.
The line at 21:00, “In the city, right?” should IMO be: “You’re in the city, right?” or “Oh, are you in the city?”
In the context of the previous line, Yoyo already knows that it’s happening in the city, so she doesn’t need to ask about that.
In the context of the next line, Yoyo jumps on the opportunity to ask Ageha to do something in the city, so I think she’s asking to confirm her understanding that Ageha is, in fact, there.
You're right, that does make more sense given the context. I left out the subject of the sentence because it could be interpreted either way, but watching it again I agree that she's specifically asking if Ageha is in the city. Thanks!
