Mux by me of the following: **Raws:** [Moozzi2](https://nyaa.si/view/1686555) (fully uncensored, from the JP BD) **Subtitles:** /a/nonymous [revision: 2023-06-25 07:15 UTC] (fansubs, heavily modified CR) **Typesetting:** Okay-Subs (modified) **Chapters:** eli All episodes have regular dialogue and a commentary audio track. The first and last episodes additionally feature a staff commentary track. TL notes: https://rentry.co/p6ymo/raw / [mirror](https://pastes.io/raw/pwtbomzykq) MediaInfo: https://rentry.co/ti2ay/raw / [mirror](https://pastes.io/raw/fash17rdcg) BD vs. Web comparison: https://slow.pics/c/cK2YRA2J (and for those interested, TV vs. Web censorship comparisons [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fafgfT90bvI&list=PLm8tibsl2re5vGsai6g3GJdDh0vHV2zWm)) This is meant to supersede the [v1 Web release](https://nyaa.si/view/1654817) of these subtitles. Update: I noticed the timing of the OP TS is off by one frame in a couple of episodes so [here](https://files.catbox.moe/qpql58.zip) are standalone fixed versions of the subs, for the perfectionists out there. ![asahi](https://files.catbox.moe/79z4py.gif)

@zetsu_shoren Watch iM@S U149 for more 😭! @motbob seems to have deleted his comment but he had pointed out I messed up the slow.pics comparison link. Fixed.
>Moozzi2 Another one to the garbage bin.

@SolitaryFlower @RinzImpulse They're the only BD encodes available currently, and still look a lot better than the Web release. The second volume BDMV hasn't even been posted here because KoushinRip is ded. Feel free to download the subs (which are linked above) and use 'em with whatever BD encode you want.
If you say "better than the web release", you should at least find differences between the uncensored web release (for example the Amazon WEB-DL, not motbob's encode) and the JPBD itself. Moozzi2 absolutely destroyed the chromatic aberration/glow and oversharpened everything.
https://slow.pics/c/LTus1YA9 A quick comparison shows how Moozzi2 nukes the gimmicky artistic intent of the show, Okay-Subs being on-par; sometimes better or worse than Amazon, and the BD being better than all options. The comparison I linked isn't comprehensive enough but the BD also has its own issues (although I think it's better anyway because the web releases are starved)
@eli just ignore them they're Moozzi haters, Some of just trolling
I appreciate the BD sync, but these BDs are not strictly better than WEB (chroma lowpass filtering is present). Moozzi2's encode is definitely straightup worse. EDIT: didnt realize this was the /a/ TL, now im even more disappointed.
>just ignore them they’re Moozzi haters, Some of just trolling Moozzi is shit though. It's a well-knonw fact.
https://slow.pics/c/U4DcPpUq If the BDs are busted, I guess I will be doing BD encodes after all, since I have experience fixing this kind of thing.
The BDMV raw files were just posted this morning. https://nyaa.si/?f=1&c=1_4&q=BDMV
@motbob have one word and direct to the point, good fella.
>The second volume BDMV hasn’t even been posted here because KoushinRip is ded thankfully it was uploaded to U2 two days ago

@herkz @Hentaineko Yep, but wasn't posted here until after this upload.
> Moozzi2 bruh
 >/a/ being retarded again
>n/a/rdo strikes again
cheeky BD, needs sharpen correction 💢💢💢
>If the BDs are busted, I guess I will be doing BD encodes after all, since I have experience fixing this kind of thing. @motbob do Bleach, fam...
This choice of encode really makes me rethink eli's judgment on every other aspect on fansubbing. Sad
Don't let the encode distract you from the fact we just got another Onimai OP/ED translation, bringing the totals up to 6 and 3 respectively.

@Gnome I'd rather release something than wait indefinitely, just hoping someone else does a usable encode at some point in the future. Also note that I didn't really work on any part of this, I'm just compiling others' work. The """anime community""" is pretty funny because despite all this controversy, we're all idiots according to those who encode TV/movies just for using HEVC/x265 in the first place. It's all a matter of arbitrary personal opinion. Again, feel free to use the standalone subs with whatever encode you choose. You do have that ability. If better BD raws come out, I can re-release it with those. But those don't exist yet, and who knows when they will. So this is what exists for now. My only regret is not transcoding the FLAC audio track to Opus. EDIT: lol, just saw there's now an AV1 encode before an HEVC one. nice. @Guncannon A very good point, but still not enough.
thank you :wholesome:
I usually download Reinforce or one of the new groups (as long as it's BDRip), and delete them once Moozzi2 releases. Also, you know what ruins the viewing experience more than the encoding? The subtitles (not directed towards OP, great work translating), I could probably switch a Moozzi2 hater's file to a Moozzi2 rip and they wouldn't have notice after watching the entire anime because they're staring at the subtitles the whole fvcking time, I pretty sure the intended viewing experience isn't to have your center of focus at the bottom of the screen for a large amount of time. I get it now, the contrast between the brightness of the scene and the darkness of the subtitle must be what's hurting your eyes.
Jeet detected.

This AV1 version looks pretty good and uses subtitles lifted from this release: https://nyaa.si/view/1688249
> I could probably switch a Moozzi2 hater’s file to a Moozzi2 rip and they wouldn’t have notice Fantastic demonstration of the sheer processing power contained in Moozzi2 watchers' craniums Also eli I and every non-pseud agrees with you on the HEVC/AV1/opus point, but those don't inherently destroy the integrity of the art unlike Moozzi2's encoding process
LOL Why Moozzi? Don't you know that the guy applied sharpening filter onto everything he released?

User
@Roman-sama Because it was the literal only choice at the time of release. No other BD encodes existed at the time. As you could have figured out had you read any of the above comments.

Here's a different h265 10bit BD encode with these same subs (track 2) FYI https://nyaa.si/view/1690563
