Encoder(s): Urotsuki
Release notes: The video filtering is far from ideal, but the video is still much better than my old DVDRip ;) I even did some scene filtering.
Audio tracks from DVD R2J, since the authoring of the tracks on the BD is very questionable - https://slow.pics/c/jj7Yzru9

Thank you so much!!
Each encode from Urotsuki is brilliant to start with. Moreover he's one of the very few to update some releases he's done already, with new codecs and new processes, which makes him close to an artist willing for achievement.
These subtitles really drag down the encode. They could have used an editor, there are small mistakes, a pointless "Hum." (e03@f12994/l36), screen-wide lines caused by not utilising hard breaks (`\N`), several instances of high CPS text, and a very obvious repeated line (e16@f3418/l25). The latter seems to come from KAA's release, that [RaX's](https://nyaa.si/view/165043) was probably based on; was fixed by [ziadamu](https://nyaa.si/view/690413) ([archive](https://archive.is/ombvH)), which [kuchikirukia](https://nyaa.si/view/868513) used; reintroduced by [Pariah](https://nyaa.si/view/1385609) because he started from KAA again, and thus unfortunately ended up in this torrent.
You also failed to include the main font's italics version present in Pariah's release for some reason, which would have been caught by even the most rudimentary of (sub) QC.
But, it's a garbage show anyway.
Great release!! Thanks a lot Urotsuki! Bringing back some of the classic anime masterpieces. But, it would truly be amazing if you could also consider doing other classics such as Perfect Blue, Paranoia Agent, Serial Experiments Lain, Monster, Cowboy Bebop, more Ghost in the Shell, Paprika, or Higurashi.
Hard to chose between this and kuchikirukia's R2J DVD-sourced release.
The latter is actually a little sharper, somehow (I assume this down to the source), but this release being (SD)BD-sourced definitively has its benefits, with much less noticeable artifacting and better noise retention.
@SawtoothOakSamurai
Of course it's better. I wrote about this in the release notes.
But maybe someday I'll do improved filtering and encoding in a new version of the rip ;)
