Fortunately for her, Crown Prince Christopher Selkirk Asherald proposes a deal: He will protect her free time, and, in exchange, Elianna will be his fiancée in name only. “The years they spend together are bliss, as Elianna learns to open herself to others. But all good things must come to an end. For Elianna, who loves books more than people, ending their fake relationship should be no big deal. But as Christopher grows close with another girl, Elianna begins to realize that she is not as indifferent to him as she once thought.” ---- Mushikaburi-hime, or Bibliophile Princess, is definitely a personal favorite of some of the staff members, and Madhouse delivered with the adaptation. When it aired on web/tv many of the video sources were pretty poor quality wise, and we were only able to choose the least bad (as recommended by a few encoders). When the US BDs came out it was discovered that they were lowpassed, making them an un-ideal option, but the JP BD's looked pretty good on the whole, so we used them.
