@Gunshi because the millenial and also zoomer way is popular = good. Unpopular = eew/bad. They cannot form their own opinions. Personally I think MT is a bit contrived as the over-arching plot is pretty shit but that's okay, I was only ever here for Eris and Sylphiette and I'm not pretending otherwise.
Again, I really want to like this anime because of the amazing world building and production, but the MC’s controversal actions makes quite uncomfortable and hard to watch. Sure, he redeemed his awful actions later on, but still. It’s so sad people of these days care nothing but fanservice and give to popular anime high ratings while dismissing flaws.
