Kawatte Shimatta Hatsukoi no Hito / My Girlfriend’s Older Sister… Is My First Love, Who Has Changed Author: Kimura Kaito Illustrator: Hamu Genres: Drama, Romance, School Life Translation: Sinkured Translations (v01, website is gone), [Sainokan TLs](https://sainokantls.com/kanojo-no-ane-wa-kawatte-shimatta-hatsukoi-no-hito-light-novel-vol-2/) (v02) --- > High school student Ooshima Kamome got his first girlfriend. She is Shishido Himawari, a neat and reserved classmate. From now on, happy days for the two of them will begin. Just as that seems to be the case, Kamome reunites with his first love, Tsuyu, at Himawari’s house for the first time in several years. Tsuyu, who has lost her bright and cheerful old self, has a decadent and dreary air about her. She has become Himawari’s stepsister due to her parents’ remarriage. The shock of the reunion is short-lived, as Kamome is taken into Tsuyu’s room without knowing what is going on. 「…Perhaps, it was your first time?」 I want you to return to the way you were when I liked you. Despite having a girlfriend, Kamome is slowly being consumed by his feelings for Tsuyu. Is it pure love or obsession? This is a story of pure, straightforward, plundering love. --- Added volume 2 🔥 ✍️ 🔥 Sainokan's translation of volume 2 is only available behind paywall (despite completely reading like MTL), I got it second hand. They have retranslated volume 1 too but I doubt it's any better than the previous group. At this point I guess it's me the tard who doesn't throw novels into deepl/chatgpt and then paylocks them for some pocket money.

Good job on getting this! Well, for people nowadays, the translation quality doesn't really matter anymore I guess, just as long as the series they wanted to read got translated, anything'd be fine. I'm a former translator, and despite my stubborness in having things the way I want them to be, like the meaning has to exactly match with the original language! Like in anime, subs doesn't really match with what they are saying, so what I did was the opposite of that, and still, people read them. But later down the line I realized people's preferences wasn't really that deep, wasn't really like that, so what I do after that was just to go exactly like those anime subs translation. And people like it. Like, they are really liking it that way. I'm not saying Sainokan’s translation was like that of course, I was just saying my thoughts out loud about how readers are when it comes to tl quality.
