Im literally mindblown how your release is double the size of something like Tenrai-sensei release yet it has the quality of a 240p bitrate starved WMV file. How can you have over 1gb per episode and this is the quality? https://ibb.co/qgGjDRp
You will be enlightened once you compare the mediainfo of both tenrai and this release. Heck reading the description alone will give you your answer.
@NekoTrix If you mean multiple audio tracks then yes ive seen it. Point is the video quality is worse than Hi10 releases that are 100-200 MB in size. What was the point of inflating the file size with 10+ audio tracks but starving the video so badly that streaming it from some piracy streaming site at 480p would still make it look better than this release.

I will give up on using the maximum value supported for crf. The efficiency gains aren't worth the time it would take to assure these bad frames don't sneak in.

Might I also suggest leaving out most of the audio tracks as well, just leaving JP and EN, and uploading the others as a separate torrent or as separate MKA files in the torrent that people can easily delete if they don't need them? Because otherwise they are just wasted bits sitting on my NAS. I have a script workflow that can remove everything except JP with EN subtitles, but a lot of people don't. And it's nice to not have to use the script at all (time + doesn't invalidate torrent so I can stay on the torrent forever). I believe you can have multiple audio tracks in one MKA file. If the base filename is the same as the MKV's base filename, pretty much any MKV player should pick up the MKA file automatically and show the extra dub tracks for the few people that want them, on top of the ones already available in the MKV (unless I've misunderstood how MKA's work... I've never done an encode with more than 2 audio tracks before). This will give you more room with bitrate vs filesize. The vast majority of people who download anime from places like this watch in Japanese with subtitles anyway. All the extra audio is a lot of wasted bits for most people. Yeah hard drive space is cheap these days etc etc but my philosophy is why make people download something they won't ever use in the first place? I normally like your encodes and I feel like this would make things perfect for people who want the extra audio (low percentage of anime pirates) while mainly serving the vast majority of "mateys" who absolutely do not ever watch alternate dubs.
