The only way you can say this is if you experience temporary blindness and deafness during each main episode and also completely miss the entire framing of the show. Every twist or turn in the story is foreshadowed to the point where the only thing the narrator hasn't done is explicitly say what will happen. Like, yeah, when the narrator tell you for the 3rd time that this is the last time these characters will talk it means the guy leaving dies. The entire series is framed as a retelling of history—like an embellished reading of a history book. You are not supposed to get wowed or surprised by insane twists and turns, but rather the narration is there to clearly guide and prepare you for each event. What makes the series tick is its scale as well as how granular it is. You experience this great time in their fictional history through every level, following common foot soldiers, plane fighters, civilians, and the great people taking charge of their century. The draw isn't in shocking revelations and twist, but in the fantastic worldbuilding and its many moving parts. Getting hung up on the preview telling you "Admiral Whatsoever passes away" when just two minutes earlier the narrator tells you "and Admiral Whatsoever sailed off, his flame burning bright before he was to turn into ashes" is insanity. There is no difference if you pay attention and understand English (or Japanese). And even if there *was* a difference, it's not like it undermines anything the show is going for to begin with. There are other old shows especially in the 70s where warnings like that would possibly be appropriate, but they are completely misguided for this show in particular...
