"why did you not do them in order?" Simply because there is no need. There is no required viewing order to this season. In the "specials" including the 1993 one that I previously subbed. Tamori (narrator) introduces the characters in the first episode, thus why specials will be subbed in order. However for the first 3 seasons I have not observed this occurring. I chose to sub season 1 because it is the earliest season without any lost episodes. Season 2 being the longest with over 140 episodes has the most lost episodes, season 3 as well as season 6 still has lost episodes. My typical policy is if episodes CAN be found. I wait until they are to work on that particular show or season. Currently the Chinese fanbase is looking for them. I have some even they don't 🙂 I wish we could have an open line of communication but that Chinese fire wall is pretty tough. If you happen to have episodes, 065 148-153 175 188-190 236-237 or the first episode of the 1995 winter special. Let me know. Even for many of the episodes we do have, they are only downloadable in very low quality, often in 12fps FLV (flash) format. I've done the best I can with season 1. This is the highest quality of the early seasons overall. However because the Chinese community insists on hard-subs, for those episodes without DVD releases I had to black bar caption style sub over those. My QC people are back so you should (I hope) see less mistakes seeping into the episodes from now on. Expect many many more episodes as part of Bizarre Fridays!
