Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient in English.
More details in the README, actually literally all the details are in the Readme. It's a good read. Check it out.
If it doesn't work at first, you may need to switch to Japanese for non-unicode programs.
...google it if you don't know what that means.
Actually in the interest of being up-front I'll put the README in this description. IT IS IMPORTANT DO READ IT
So, the game is fairly buggy so it is prone to frequent crashes and the like, but it isn't like this
is my responsibility or anything....baka!
Secondly, I haven't figured out how to translate the menus. This very unlikely to cause a problem,
apart from the fact that you are unable to re-read collected notes that are used for solving puzzles.
When the playable character picks up a piece of paper it will be read in English when it is added to
the inventory, but this is the only time it is readable in English. Other than than that the layout of
the menu is rather obvious: New Game is towards the top, load in the middle, and close game is toward
the bottom. The in-game menu choices are from top to bottom: Resume, Medical Cards, Options, Title Menu.
Save points are available in the game, and therefore the game does not have a save option in the in-game
menu.
Thirdly, the game explains the controls in-game but just in case:
Z/SPACE: Select/sprint
X: Item menu
C: In-game menu/map
Arrows: Move
Forthly, another group is bringing a much better version out soon, but I worked on this on my own for
about 5 months and didn't want to just throw it away, so I'm posting here. I would advise downloading from
the other group from http://corpseparty2deadpatient.tumblr.com/home when it comes out. They have added
deleted scenes and the like, and I've read the deleted scenes and they seem to make the plot make more
natural sense, but I didn't want to change the source material, so I left them out. They may even have the
menus done soon, but I'm not sure. That being said, if you don't want to wait, or would rather experience
the game as it was released without the extras, then this might be better for you.
Lastly, if you want to tell me "hey GUMI, you're text is falling off the screen", or "hey GUMI, that's not
how you English!" or just send me random death threats my email address is: gumiislife@gmail.com and I'll
try my best to fix where I went wrong. I also don't have a website, 'cos I don't translate that often.
