Ladies and Gentlemen, I write to you, dear friends, in a bout of exhaustion that now concludes dozens of sleepless hours spent at this beloved keyboard. The only thing that kept us going was the glorious sight of Queen Sadist the Madeye and her loyal pups. Good thing we had some left-over bishoujo fear sweat in our supply closet, or we wouldn't have made it on time! Oh! And double tracks! We have double subtitle tracks this time around. Enjoy. Still, apologies to the people who weren't informed that our schedule's going to be a little different from here on out. Expect the Act II release... whenever we usually do the Act II release, I suppose. And with everything said and done, Ari Ari Ari Arrivederci! With a push of the glasses, ChunChunMaru

Does anyone else not get subtitles in OSX? I definitely don't and there's a guy in the episode 9 torrent (https://nyaa.si/view/955503) saying these use Microsoft-specific fonts.
If there's a font issue, the subs would show up in a default font instead of the correct font. They wouldn't just not show up at all. BTW, it hasn't been called OS X (which is the Roman numeral 10, and it's pronounced as OS 10, by the way) for a good year now.

@XerBlade: Nevertheless, subtitles aren’t coming up for me and at least that one other guy. _macOS_ 10.12.5, VLC 2.2.6. I don’t normally have subtitle issues and I’ve tried adjusting a bunch of settings in VLC to no effect...
@dcx: VLC 2.2.7 nightlies don't show subtitles either but 3.0.0 ones do and are quite functional (once one goes through the small hoop of allowing an unsigned binary to be run). Operating system: macOS 10.12(.5), though I imagine OS X 10.11 and previous versions are equally affected.
