you probably should stop recommending CCCP. it's outdated, instead recommend people to use mpv, or MPC-HC with LAV Filter, MadVR and XySubFilter

that's true, people like it for a some reason though. i prefer mpv myself, but some people simply won't agree to stop recommending MPC completely.
